Interface Development

Heliant specializes in creating unique brand images utilizing our understanding of the industry combined with a solid graphic design skill set. In addition, Heliant's personnel have worked closely with other advertising agencies to take existing brands, and translate them into successful interfaces for the World Wide Web. Database/Application Development

Heliant develops completely modular, enterprise-level online applications. Using platform independent scripting tools such as Java Servlets, mod perl, and PHP, Heliant can create software that can be transferred between UNIX, Windows, and Macintosh environments without any overhead time for re-scripting. In addition, Heliant makes use of database abstraction in each of our applications so the final product's database source can be switched seamlessly between almost any SQL-based database provider. With one simple change to a configuration file, the product can be switched between Oracle, SQL Server 7, mySQL, and many others.

Heliant maintains its own secure hosting environment, based on the reliable and tested Sun Solaris platform. Heliant is experienced in supporting and deploying secure, scalable, and reliable hosting solutions, and is currently developing infrastructure for its own distributed network. Heliant can help design scalable environments that can grow with your company and integrate with flexible application architecture. Heliant offers consulting services in network deployment, remote installation, and general server troubleshooting. Heliant has deployed solutions on a number of different platforms, including Solaris, Linux, BSD, and Windows NT.
